Plimoth Plantation 1627

Plimoth Plantation
Guides at Plimoth Plantation must take special courses in Pilgrim lore each winter, in order to serve you during the summer and answer your questions.  You'll find that they are well informed and enjoy their work. The stories of their lives is well worth the trip through the past. Allow at least an hour for the visit (we recommend at least three).
The spelling of Plimoth, with an "i" is in keeping with ancient records and early maps.

Forefathers Monument, Plymouth Ma.

The National Monument to The Forefathers
The grand central figure, Faith, symbolizes what inspired the Pilgrim's journey to the New World.  It is a large-featured, classically-draped female standing with one foot on Plymouth Rock.  She is holding an open Bible in her left hand while her right hand is uplifted to heaven. We strongly recommend that this site be visited with a tour guide, The complexity of this statue is amazing and will take some time to describe what the details of the Forefathers statue mean.

May we recomend Bettyann's Tours for an informative guide of the monument.
